Blade Material

Blades are made from German stainless steel conforming to DIN EN 10088 – 1.4116 / X50CrMoV15, manufactured by Outokumpu (Dillenburg Plant, Germany). (Steel source may vary depending on production batch.)

The blades are oil-quenched during heat treatment and mirror polished, providing improved hardness, corrosion resistance, and a smooth surface that helps reduce friction and makes cleaning easier.

This steel is widely used for professional butcher and kitchen knives due to its excellent corrosion resistance, toughness, and reliable edge retention, making it well suited for demanding meat processing environments.

Handle Material

Handle made from reinforced nylon with fiberglass (PA + GF).
